BART
From any location in Hayward, walk to the nearest BART station, which is the Hayward BART Station located at 29999 BART Way, Hayward, CA 94544. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. Board a Richmond-bound train and enjoy the ride. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero station. Upon exiting the station, head towards the Financial District. Walk towards the waterfront, then turn right onto Washington Street. Sue Bierman Park will be on your left at the intersection of Washington St and Drumm St.

Locate the nearest AC Transit bus stop in Hayward. You can take the Line 40 bus towards the San Leandro BART station. Get off at the San Leandro BART station and transfer to the BART line towards San Francisco/Daly City. Travel to the Embarcadero station, which will take around 30-40 minutes. After exiting the BART, walk towards the waterfront and then turn right onto Washington Street.
