Public Bus
From Hollywood Boulevard, walk to the nearest bus stop at Hollywood Blvd & Highland Ave. Take the Metro Bus Line 212 towards 'Torrance Transit Center'. Stay on the bus for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Pacific Coast Hwy & 8th St. From there, it’s just a 10-minute walk to Hermosa Beach. Head west on 8th St, then turn right onto Pacific Coast Hwy (CA-1). Continue walking south until you reach the beach.
Metro Train and Bus
From Hollywood, walk to the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station. Take the Metro Red Line towards Union Station and transfer at Union Station to the Metro Silver Line. Take the Silver Line towards El Monte and get off at the 'El Monte Station'. At El Monte Station, catch the Metro Bus Line 125 towards 'Redondo Beach'. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Pacific Coast Hwy & 8th St. From there, walk west on 8th St and turn right onto Pacific Coast Hwy (CA-1) to reach Hermosa Beach.
