Public Transit
From Hollywood Boulevard, walk to the nearest Metro Station, which is Hollywood/Highland Station. Take the Metro Red Line towards Union Station and get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center. Transfer to the Metro Blue Line towards Washington Station. Ride until you reach the Station at Artesia. From there, catch the Metro Green Line towards Redondo Beach Station. Get off at the Manhattan Beach Station. From the station, it is a 15-minute walk to the Manhattan Beach Pier. Walk west on Manhattan Beach Blvd until you reach the pier.
Bus
Take the Metro Bus Line 212 from Hollywood Boulevard towards Long Beach. Get off at the stop at Sepulveda Blvd & Rosecrans Ave. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 109 heading towards Manhattan Beach. Get off at the stop at Manhattan Beach Blvd & Ocean Dr. The Manhattan Beach Pier is just a short walk to the west along Manhattan Beach Blvd.
Rideshare
Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Enter 'Manhattan Beach Pier, 2 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266' as your destination. Rideshare drivers are available throughout Hollywood, and the drive will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. From Hollywood Boulevard, head south towards the bike paths along the Los Angeles River. Follow the path to the coast, and then head west towards Manhattan Beach. The ride can take about an hour and offers a scenic view of the area.
