Walking
If you are staying near Hollywood Boulevard, head west on Hollywood Blvd until you reach La Cienega Blvd. Turn left on La Cienega and walk south for about 0.5 miles. You will cross Sunset Blvd, and shortly after, you will reach the iconic Sunset Strip. Look for the various entertainment venues and restaurants as you walk along the street.
Public Transport (Bus)
From any stop on Hollywood Boulevard, catch the DASH Hollywood bus (Route H) which runs frequently. Ride it towards the Sunset Strip, and get off at the Sunset Blvd & La Cienega Blvd stop. From there, you are just a short walk away from the heart of the Sunset Strip, which is lined with shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
Public Transport (Metro)
Take the Metro Red Line from any Hollywood station (like Hollywood/Highland) heading towards North Hollywood. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland station, then transfer to the Metro 2 or 4 bus at the Hollywood Blvd & Highland Ave bus stop heading towards West Hollywood. Get off at the Sunset Blvd & La Cienega Blvd stop for easy access to the Sunset Strip.
