From downtown Huntington Beach, head to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Take the OCTA Bus Route 1 heading towards the south. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, passing through various neighborhoods and beaches. Get off at the stop near Main St and 17th St. Once you alight, transfer to Bus Route 29 at the same stop. Ride for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the stop for Tustin Ave and 1st St. Walk south on Tustin Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach South B St. Turn left onto South B St, and the David Hewes House will be on your right at 350 S B St.

If you are already close to downtown Huntington Beach, start by heading east on Main St. Continue until you reach the intersection with 1st St. Turn left on 1st St and walk straight until you reach Tustin Ave. Turn right onto Tustin Ave and continue walking for about 15 minutes. Finally, turn left on South B St, and you will find the David Hewes House located at 350 S B St.

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Huntington Beach. Start your ride by heading east on Main St, then take a right on 1st St. Continue straight until you reach Tustin Ave, where you will turn right.
