Public Transit
To reach Aliso Beach from central Irvine, start by heading to the Irvine Transportation Center. From there, take the Metrolink train towards San Juan Capistrano. Get off at the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station. Once you arrive, walk to the nearby bus stop and catch the OC Bus Route 89 towards Laguna Beach. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Aliso Beach, which will be at Pacific Coast Highway & Monterey Street. From there, it's a short walk down Monterey Street to reach the beach.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Irvine. Start at the Irvine Spectrum and follow the bike path south towards Laguna Beach. This scenic route will take you through beautiful landscapes and eventually lead you to the Pacific Coast Highway. Once you reach the highway, head south towards Aliso Beach. It’s about a 10-mile ride from the Spectrum, and you’ll enjoy the ocean views along the way. Make sure to lock your bike at the beach.

If you are already in the vicinity of Laguna Beach, you can easily walk to Aliso Beach from downtown Laguna. Start at the Laguna Beach Visitor Center and head southeast on Forest Avenue. Continue straight until you reach Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left and walk along the highway for about 1.5 miles until you reach Monterey Street. Turn right onto Monterey Street, and Aliso Beach will be a short walk down this street.
