From the center of Joshua Tree, head east on Highway 62. Walk along the sidewalk until you reach the intersection with Park Boulevard. Turn left onto Park Boulevard and continue walking until you reach the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Here, you will need to enter the park. Note that there may be an entrance fee. Once inside, follow the signs for the Desert View Conservation Area. The area is located approximately 8 miles from the entrance of the park. Look for trail markers indicating the path to Desert View.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Joshua Tree. Start your journey by biking east on Highway 62, then turn left onto Park Boulevard. Continue on Park Boulevard until you reach the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.
