Start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6554 Park Blvd, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. From the Visitor Center, head east on Park Blvd toward the main road. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Turn right onto Highway 62 and walk along the shoulder for approximately 1 mile. Look for the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on your left. Enter the park and walk along the designated pedestrian path toward the Hi-View Trailhead, which is approximately 2 miles further in the park. Follow the signs for Hi-View Trailhead.

If you have a bicycle, start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center. Head east on Park Blvd and continue onto Highway 62. Turn left at the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Once inside, follow the road signs that direct you to the Hi-View Trailhead. The total distance from the Visitor Center to the Hi-View Trailhead is about 2.5 miles, so ensure you have enough water and supplies for your ride.
