Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Joshua Tree, head north on Palm Avenue until you reach Highway 62. Turn left onto Highway 62 and follow it for about 5 miles. You will pass the Joshua Tree National Park entrance on your right. Continue straight for another 2 miles until you see the signs for Hidden Valley Campground. Turn right onto National Park Drive and follow it for about 1 mile. The campground will be on your left.

  • Biking

    If you prefer to bike, start from the center of Joshua Tree and ride north on Palm Avenue. When you reach Highway 62, turn left and continue for about 5 miles. Be cautious as this road can be busy. After passing the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, continue for another 2 miles. Look for the signs for Hidden Valley Campground and turn right onto National Park Drive. It will be approximately 1 mile ahead on your left.

    Unfortunately, public transport options to Hidden Valley Campground are limited. However, you can take a shuttle service from Joshua Tree to the park entrance.
