Walking
From the center of Joshua Tree, head north on Palm Avenue until you reach Highway 62. Turn left onto Highway 62 and follow it for about 5 miles. You will pass the Joshua Tree National Park entrance on your right. Continue straight for another 2 miles until you see the signs for Hidden Valley Campground. Turn right onto National Park Drive and follow it for about 1 mile. The campground will be on your left.

If you prefer to bike, start from the center of Joshua Tree and ride north on Palm Avenue. When you reach Highway 62, turn left and continue for about 5 miles. Be cautious as this road can be busy. After passing the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, continue for another 2 miles. Look for the signs for Hidden Valley Campground and turn right onto National Park Drive. It will be approximately 1 mile ahead on your left.

Unfortunately, public transport options to Hidden Valley Campground are limited. However, you can take a shuttle service from Joshua Tree to the park entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance, you will need to walk or bike the remaining distance. From the entrance, it is about a 2-mile walk to Hidden Valley Campground. Follow the road signs directing you to the campground.
