Walking
If you are starting in downtown Joshua Tree, head northeast on Joshua Lane towards Highway 62. Turn left onto Highway 62 and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. After about 10-15 minutes, you will see the entrance to Joshua Tree Memorial Park on your right side at 60121 29 Palms Hwy.

Bicycle
For those with a bicycle, start at the Joshua Tree Community Center located at 6171 Sunburst St. Cycle west on Sunburst St until you reach Highway 62. Turn right onto Highway 62 and continue cycling for approximately 1 mile. You will see Joshua Tree Memorial Park on your right at 60121 29 Palms Hwy. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Morongo Basin Transit Authority bus from the Joshua Tree stop. Board the bus heading towards 29 Palms and get off at the stop closest to the Highway 62 and 29 Palms Hwy intersection. From there, it's a short walk to Joshua Tree Memorial Park located at 60121 29 Palms Hwy, which is about 0.2 miles away. Follow the road directly south from the bus stop and you will reach the park.
