Start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6554 Park Blvd, Joshua Tree, CA. Walk southeast on Park Blvd for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Cross the highway and continue walking southeast along the paved shoulder for another 0.8 miles until you reach the junction for Keys View Road. Take a left onto Keys View Road and follow it for approximately 4.5 miles.
