    From the Joshua Tree Visitor Center in Twentynine Palms, drive south on Utah Trail, which becomes Park Boulevard inside the park, for approximately 14 miles. Turn left onto Keys View Road and continue for about 1.5 miles. The Cap Rock parking area will be on your left. Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park requires a pass, which can be purchased at the entrance stations or online. A private vehicle pass costs $30 and is valid for 7 days. Alternatively, an annual Joshua Tree National Park pass is available for $55, or an 'America the Beautiful' pass, granting access to all national parks, can be purchased for $80.
