    From Joshua Tree, walk to the nearest bus stop along Highway 62. Catch the Route 1 bus towards Palm Springs. Ensure you have exact change or a bus pass ready. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the Palm Springs City Hall stop. From there, walk south on El Cielo Rd for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto N Palm Canyon Dr. The Palm Springs Visitor Center will be on your left, just after the intersection with E Alejo Rd.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Joshua Tree. Start your ride on the main road (Highway 62) heading west. Continue on Highway 62 for approximately 14 miles. As you approach Palm Springs, stay in the right lane and follow signs for N Palm Canyon Dr. Turn left onto N Palm Canyon Dr. The Palm Springs Visitor Center is located at 2901 N Palm Canyon Dr, on your left side.
