Walking
From the center of Joshua Tree Village, start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6554 Park Blvd, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Head east on Park Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Cross over to the north side of the highway and continue walking east. After about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the signs towards Skull Rock, which is located along the main road. The total distance is approximately 1.5 miles, and should take around 30-40 minutes on foot.
