    Walking

    From the center of Joshua Tree Village, start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6554 Park Blvd, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Head east on Park Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Cross over to the north side of the highway and continue walking east. After about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the signs towards Skull Rock, which is located along the main road. The total distance is approximately 1.5 miles, and should take around 30-40 minutes on foot.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Joshua Tree Village. Start at any bike rental shop and head east on Park Blvd. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Highway 62 and continue east for about 1 mile. Enter Joshua Tree National Park at the entrance on your left. Once inside, follow the main road straight for approximately 2 miles until you reach Skull Rock. The total distance is around 2.5 miles, and biking should take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
