Car
If you are driving, start from the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6554 Park Blvd, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Head northeast on Park Blvd, then turn right onto Highway 62. After approximately 6 miles, turn left onto Twentynine Palms Highway (CA-62). Continue on this road for about 10 miles until you reach the town of Twentynine Palms. As you enter Twentynine Palms, look for the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on your right at Utah Trail. Enter the park and follow the main road, stopping at the various viewpoints if desired. After entering the park, follow the signs to Wonderland Ranch Ruins, which is about a 5-mile drive from the entrance. Look for parking areas at the ruins.

For those relying on public transportation, take a bus to Twentynine Palms from nearby cities (check local schedules as services may vary). Once you arrive in Twentynine Palms, you can use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Upon entering the park, you will need to either walk or take a short bike ride to the Wonderland Ranch Ruins, which is about 5 miles from the entrance. Be sure to check for any park entrance fees that might apply, as they are typically around $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
