    If you are starting from La Jolla Cove, walk to the nearest bus stop at Coast Blvd and Pearl St. Take the MTS Bus 30 towards Downtown San Diego. Ride for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the 'Broadway & 1st Ave' stop. From there, transfer to Bus 7 towards Balboa Park. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Park Blvd & El Prado' stop. Walk along El Prado for about 5 minutes until you reach Alcázar Garden at 1363 El Prado.

    From La Jolla Shores, walk towards the intersection of La Jolla Shores Dr and Avenida de la Playa. Head southeast on La Jolla Shores Dr, then turn left on Torrey Pines Rd. Continue walking for about 2.5 miles, passing through the scenic paths of Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. Once you reach the intersection with Balboa Park, follow the signs to El Prado. Alcázar Garden will be on your left at 1363 El Prado, approximately 5 minutes from the park entrance.
