To reach Coronado Island from La Jolla, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the 30 bus from the La Jolla Village Square shopping center. Board the bus heading towards 'Downtown San Diego'. When you arrive at the 'Broadway & 1st' stop in downtown San Diego, transfer to the 901 bus towards Coronado. Ride this bus until you reach the 'Coronado Ferry Landing' stop. From there, you can enjoy a short walk to the beach or other attractions on Coronado Island.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. Start at any bike rental shop in La Jolla, such as La Jolla Bike Rentals. Head south on Coast Boulevard, following the scenic coastline.
