If you are starting from La Jolla Cove, head southeast on Coast Blvd towards the La Jolla Children's Pool. Continue along the coastline, enjoying the scenic views. When you reach the Children's Pool, head up the stairs to Pacific Ave. Continue straight on Pacific Ave until you reach the intersection with Girard Ave. Turn left onto Girard Ave and walk until you reach the intersection with Prospect St. Turn right onto Prospect St and follow it until you reach the intersection with Cave St. Take a left on Cave St and continue onto the Guy Fleming Trail path. North Overlook will be on your right side after a short walk along the trail.

Starting from the La Jolla Village Square, exit towards La Jolla Blvd. Head south on La Jolla Blvd, continuing until you reach the intersection with Prospect St. Turn left onto Prospect St. Walk along Prospect St until you reach the intersection with Cave St. Turn left on Cave St, and continue onto the Guy Fleming Trail. North Overlook will be just a short distance ahead on your right.

From La Jolla Village Square, take the bus #30 towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the stop at the intersection of La Jolla Blvd and Prospect St. From there, walk south on La Jolla Blvd until you reach the intersection with Cave St. Turn left onto Cave St, which will lead you to the Guy Fleming Trail. Continue along the trail, and North Overlook will be on your right.
