Bus
From La Jolla, head to the nearest bus stop on La Jolla Boulevard. Take the MTS bus route 30 towards Downtown San Diego. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kettner Blvd & Broadway' stop. From there, walk east on Broadway for two blocks until you reach Park Blvd. Turn left on Park Blvd and you will find Petco Park at 100 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101.

Continue onto Mission Blvd and then onto Pacific Hwy, following the signs towards Downtown San Diego.
