Walking
If you are near the village area of La Jolla, start by heading north on Prospect St. Continue walking until you reach Girard Ave. Turn left onto Girard Ave, and then proceed to head north until you reach Torrey Pines Rd. Turn right onto Torrey Pines Rd. Follow the road for approximately half a mile. You will see the entrance to Torrey Pines State Beach on your left.

If you are near the La Jolla Village Square, catch the MTS bus route 30 towards 'Old Town Transit Center'. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Torrey Pines Rd & Carmel Valley Rd' stop. From there, walk east on Carmel Valley Rd, then turn left on Torrey Pines Rd. Continue walking north for about 15 minutes until you reach Torrey Pines State Beach on your right.
