If you're traveling by car, start from South Lake Tahoe. Head south on US-50 E toward Stateline. After about 3.5 miles, turn left onto CA-89 S. Continue on CA-89 S for approximately 2 miles. Look for the signs for Fallen Leaf Lake, and turn left onto Fallen Leaf Lake Road. Follow this road until you reach the parking area at the lake.
