    Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from South Lake Tahoe. Head south on US-50 E toward Stateline. After about 3.5 miles, turn left onto CA-89 S. Continue on CA-89 S for approximately 2 miles. Look for the signs for Fallen Leaf Lake, and turn left onto Fallen Leaf Lake Road. Follow this road until you reach the parking area at the lake.     Public Transportation

    To reach Fallen Leaf Lake via public transportation, take the South Tahoe Area Transit (STATA) bus from various points in South Lake Tahoe.
