    If you're driving from South Lake Tahoe, head south on US-50 E for about 2 miles. After crossing the bridge over the Truckee River, turn left onto Pioneer Trail. Continue on Pioneer Trail for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 89. Turn right onto Highway 89 S and follow it for about 1.5 miles. Look for the signs indicating Tallac Historic Site and turn left onto Heritage Way. The site will be on your left at 1 Heritage Way, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Parking is available on-site.
