Walking
If you are in the heart of Downtown Long Beach, head towards the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center at 300 E Ocean Blvd. From there, walk south on Golden Ave for about 0.2 miles (5 minutes). You will see Cesar E. Chavez Park on your left at 401 Golden Ave. The park is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Public Transit - Bus
For those further away, you can catch the Long Beach Transit bus. Look for the nearest bus stop and board the 1 or 3 bus lines. The bus fare is approximately $1.25 for a single ride (exact change required). Get off at the stop at 4th St. & Golden Ave. From there, walk north on Golden Ave for about 0.1 miles (2 minutes) to reach Cesar E. Chavez Park.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations around Downtown Long Beach. Once you have a bike, head towards Golden Ave and ride south.
