If you're starting from downtown Long Beach, head to the nearest Metro Blue Line station (the closest one is the Long Beach Transit Mall). Board the train heading towards Washington Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Washington Station. From there, transfer to bus line 51 (Direction: Long Beach). Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Atlantic Ave & 43rd St. The Historical Society of Long Beach is just a short walk from there. Walk south on Atlantic Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach 4260 Atlantic Ave.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the bike share stations in downtown Long Beach. Start from the downtown area and head north on Atlantic Avenue. Continue straight for about 2 miles, and you will pass by various shops and restaurants. Once you reach 4260 Atlantic Ave, you will find the Historical Society of Long Beach. There should be bike racks available to secure your bike.
