    From downtown Los Angeles, take the US-101 N freeway. Merge onto CA-134 W towards Ventura. Take the exit for Forest Lawn Dr/Griffith Park. Continue on Forest Lawn Dr until you reach the entrance of Griffith Park. There is parking available at several lots within the park, including the Griffith Park Observatory lot.

  • Public Transportation

    From Union Station, take the Metro Red Line towards North Hollywood. Transfer at the Hollywood/Highland station and take the Metro 222 bus towards Griffith Park. Get off at the stop for Griffith Park. Walk towards the park entrance. Note that service may vary, so check the Metro website for the latest schedules.

  • Car

    If you are coming from Santa Monica, take the Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1) north. Merge onto the I-10 E freeway, then take exit 7B for La Cienega Blvd. Continue on La Cienega Blvd, then turn left onto Sunset Blvd. Continue on Sunset Blvd until you reach the entrance to Griffith Park. Look for parking signs as you approach.

  • Public Transportation

    From LAX Airport, take the FlyAway bus service to Union Station. From Union Station, board the Metro Red Line towards North Hollywood and follow the same instructions as above to reach Griffith Park.

  • Car

    If you're coming from Pasadena, take the I-110 S freeway towards Los Angeles. Merge onto the I-5 S freeway, and take the exit for Los Feliz Blvd. Turn left onto Los Feliz Blvd, and continue until you reach Griffith Park. Look for parking options available within the park.
