Walking
If you are starting from Santa Monica Pier, head east on Colorado Avenue until you reach Fourth Street. Turn left onto Fourth Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Ocean Park Boulevard. Here, you can take the Big Blue Bus Line 1 towards Marina Del Rey. Get off at the stop at Manhattan Beach Boulevard and walk south until you reach the beach.

From Santa Monica, take the Big Blue Bus Line 1 from the Santa Monica Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards Marina Del Rey. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Manhattan Beach Boulevard stop. From there, walk south towards the ocean, and you will reach Manhattan Beach.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Santa Monica. Head south on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail that runs along the beach. Follow the trail for approximately 6 miles, and you will arrive directly at Manhattan Beach. The ride is scenic and offers beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.
