Car
If you are driving, start by getting on the I-405 N from your location in Los Angeles County. Depending on where you're starting, you may need to take local streets to reach the freeway. Once on the I-405 N, continue for about 8 miles and take the exit towards Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1 S). Merge onto CA-1 S and follow it for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Sullivan Fire Rd. There is a parking area near the entrance to Murphy Ranch, but be mindful that parking can be limited.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Metro Bus Line 761 or 534 to the nearest station that connects to the Pacific Coast Highway. From there, you'll need to transfer to a local bus or rideshare service to reach Sullivan Fire Rd. Walking from Parking
Once you park your car on Sullivan Fire Rd, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile up the dirt road to reach Murphy Ranch.
