If you're starting from downtown Los Angeles, head to the 7th Street/Metro Center station. Board the Metro Blue Line (now called the A Line) towards Long Beach. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the Washington station. From there, transfer to the Metro Silver Line bus heading towards El Monte. After 4 stops, disembark at the Figueroa & 24th St stop.
