Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Mammoth Lakes. Head west on Main St toward Old Mammoth Rd. Continue onto Mammoth Scenic Loop. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Lake Mary Rd. Continue on Lake Mary Rd for about 3.5 miles until you reach the Mammoth Consolidated Mine entrance, which is located near the end of the road. There is no direct parking at the mine, so park safely along the roadside.

For those using public transportation, take the Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) bus service. Catch the bus at any of the bus stops in Mammoth Lakes heading towards 'Lake Mary'. Make sure to check the current bus schedule as it may vary by season. Once you reach the Lake Mary stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along Lake Mary Rd to reach the Mammoth Consolidated Mine entrance. Wear comfortable walking shoes as the road may have uneven terrain.

If you are already in the vicinity of Lake Mary, you can walk to the Mammoth Consolidated Mine. From the Lake Mary trailhead, head northwest on the path leading towards the mine.
