Public Transport
From Martinez, head to the Martinez Amtrak Station located at 600 Marina Vista Ave. You can take a train to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal. The train ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, take a ferry to the San Francisco Ferry Building. At the Ferry Building, transfer to a bus heading towards Napa. The bus will take you to Napa, where you can disembark at the nearest stop to Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, which is located at 5766 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94558. From the bus stop, it is about a 30-minute walk to reach the winery.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Martinez. Start your journey by heading south on Alhambra Ave. After about 2 miles, turn left onto the scenic waterfront path along the Carquinez Strait. Continue on the path until you reach the Carquinez Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Napa. Once in Napa, navigate to Silverado Trail. Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is located at 5766 Silverado Trail, which is approximately a 10-mile ride from the bridge.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from downtown Martinez and head east along Main Street. After about a mile, turn left onto Alhambra Ave and continue walking for another 2 miles. Once you reach the waterfront, follow the path towards the Carquinez Bridge. Cross the bridge on foot, enjoying the views. After crossing, follow the signs towards Napa. Keep walking along the Silverado Trail towards 5766 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94558. Note that this is a long walk, approximately 10 miles from downtown Martinez, so prepare accordingly with water and snacks.
