From Highway 1, exit onto Kelly Avenue (for Francis Beach), Venice Boulevard (for Venice Beach), or Young Avenue (for Dunes and Roosevelt Beaches). Parking is available at each beach entrance for $10. Credit cards are encouraged. The Francis Beach lot tends to fill up quickly, so consider the lots at Venice, Dunes, or Roosevelt Beaches if parking is limited. Note that Roosevelt Beach parking is temporarily closed, but pedestrian access remains open.

Take SamTrans route 17 or 294 to Half Moon Bay. From Main Street, transfer to SamTrans Ride Plus, an on-demand service, to reach the beach entrances. Download the app or call (650) 238-5880 to book your ride. Ride Plus operates within Half Moon Bay and costs the same as a bus ride. Alternatively, the Coastside Beach Shuttle may be available on weekends, connecting the SamTrans bus stop at Main Street and Poplar to Half Moon Bay State Beach, Roosevelt Beach, and Fitzgerald Marine Reserve.
