Bus
To reach the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph at 80 S Market St, San Jose, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Milpitas. You can take the VTA Bus Line 70 or 71 from the Milpitas Transit Center. Board the bus and travel towards the direction of San Jose. Make sure to stay on the bus until you arrive at the 'Santa Clara & Market' stop. From there, walk east on Market St for about 3 minutes, and the Cathedral will be on your right.

Light Rail
Head to the Milpitas Light Rail Station and take the VTA Light Rail towards the 'Alum Rock' direction. Stay on the train for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the 'San Antonio' station. Here, transfer to the Light Rail Line that goes towards 'Santa Teresa' and get off at the 'San Jose Diridon' station. From there, you can either walk or take a short bus ride. If you choose to walk, head east on W Santa Clara St, turn right onto S Market St, and continue for about 10 minutes to reach the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph.

If you are at a central location in Milpitas, such as the Milpitas Library, you can walk to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph. Head south on N Milpitas Blvd, then turn left onto E Calaveras Blvd. Continue on E Calaveras Blvd until you reach the intersection with S Market St. Turn right onto S Market St and follow it for about 2 miles. The Cathedral will be on your left at 80 S Market St.
