Getting There

    If you are driving, take US-101 or I-280 to San Jose. If you are on US-101, take the exit toward CA-87N. Merge onto CA-87N and take the exit for Julian St. Turn left onto Julian St, then turn right onto N 1st St. Continue on N 1st St, then turn left onto E Santa Clara St. Follow E Santa Clara St until you reach S 6th St. Turn right on S 6th St and then left onto Phelan Ave. History Park will be on your left at 635 Phelan Ave, San Jose, CA 95112. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a fee depending on the day and time.

    To reach History Park via public transportation, you can take the VTA Light Rail. If you are coming from downtown San Jose, board the Green Line towards Old Ironsides Station. Get off at the Children’s Discovery Museum station. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take the VTA Bus Line 73 towards E Capitol Expy & 1st St. Get off at the Phelan Ave & Coyote Creek stop and walk to History Park located at 635 Phelan Ave, San Jose, CA 95112. Note that you will need a VTA ticket, which costs around $2.50 for a single ride.
