Driving
From I-680 or I-880 in Milpitas, take the Calaveras Road exit. Drive east on Calaveras Road towards the foothills. Calaveras Road passes through the southern portion of Ed R. Levin County Park. To reach the Sandy Wool Lake area, turn left onto Downing Road. To reach the Spring Valley Pond area, continue along Calaveras Road. Parking is available in various lots throughout the park. Vehicle entry fees are collected year-round and are posted at the entrance kiosk.
Public Transport
Several bus lines serve the area near Ed R. Levin County Park. From the Milpitas BART station, take the VTA Bus 47 towards McCarthy Ranch and get off at Calaveras Blvd & Hillview Dr. From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk east on Calaveras Road to reach the park's Spring Valley entrance. Alternatively, take the AC Transit Line 217 to N Milpitas Blvd & Calaveras Blvd, then transfer to VTA Bus 47. A single ride on VTA or AC Transit costs $2.50.
