From Highway 1, look for the well-marked entrances to Pescadero State Beach. There are three parking lots available along the western side of the highway. The northern lot charges an $8 day-use parking fee. If this lot is full, consider the central or southern lots, which are free. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season and weekends. Ensure you pay the parking fee at the northern lot using the self-registration envelopes provided, even if an attendant is not present.

If you are already near Pescadero State Beach, for example, visiting from the town of Pescadero, you can walk to the beach via Pescadero Creek Road, which intersects with Highway 1. Exercise caution when crossing Highway 1, as traffic can be heavy. From the highway, follow the signs to the beach access points. Note that the walk from the town center is approximately 2 miles.
