From Monterey Park, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro Gold Line train towards Union Station. At Union Station, transfer to the Metro Expo Line towards Santa Monica. Get off at the final stop, which is the Downtown Santa Monica station. Once you exit the station, walk towards 4th Street and turn left. Walk straight until you reach Ocean Avenue, then turn right. Continue walking on Ocean Avenue for about 0.3 miles, and you will find Surf City Tours at 1654 Ocean Ave on your left.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Monterey Park. Start by heading west on Garvey Avenue until you reach the Metro Gold Line station. Take the Metro to Union Station, and then transfer to the Expo Line. Cycle from the Downtown Santa Monica station by following 4th Street to Ocean Avenue. Turn right on Ocean Avenue and continue cycling for about 0.3 miles until you reach Surf City Tours at 1654 Ocean Ave.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the Monterey Park City Hall located at 320 W Newmark Ave. Walk west on Newmark Ave until you reach Garfield Ave. Turn right and walk north until you reach the Metro Gold Line station at the corner of Garfield Ave and Garvey Ave. Take the Metro Gold Line to Union Station. From Union Station, transfer to the Expo Line towards Santa Monica. Get off at the Downtown Santa Monica station, then walk towards 4th Street, turn left, and continue until you reach Ocean Avenue.
