Public Transport
The most efficient way to reach Universal Studios Hollywood is via the Metro B Line (Red). From Downtown LA or Hollywood, take the Metro B Line to the Universal/Studio City Station. From there, a free shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes directly to the park's entrance. Alternatively, it's an uphill walk of about 0.6 miles. A single Metro fare is $1.75.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxi and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) offer a convenient way to reach Universal Studios Hollywood. From central Hollywood, expect to pay around $15-25 for a ride, depending on traffic and surge pricing. The drop-off point is near the park entrance.
Driving
If driving, take the 101 Hollywood Freeway to Universal Studios Boulevard. Follow the signs to Universal Studios Hollywood. Daily parking fees range from $35 for General Parking before 5 PM to $10 for General Parking after 5 PM. Preferred Parking and Front Gate Parking options are also available at higher rates. Valet parking is available as well, with varying rates. Consider purchasing a movie ticket at Universal Cinema to get a discounted parking rate of $5.
