Walking
From the Santa Cruz Wharf, walk east along Beach Street towards the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The Cocoanut Grove is located adjacent to the Boardwalk, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. Look for the large, historic building with ocean views. No costs involved.
Public Transport
From the Downtown Santa Cruz Metro Center, take Santa Cruz Metro Route 3 or 19 towards the Boardwalk. Get off at the stop closest to the Boardwalk on Beach Street. The Cocoanut Grove is located adjacent to the Boardwalk. A single ride fare is approximately $2-$3. The trolley is another option, costing $0.25.
Driving
If driving, navigate to 400 Beach Street, Santa Cruz. Be aware that parking near the Boardwalk can be challenging, especially during peak season. The Boardwalk operates parking lots along Beach Street, with all-day rates ranging from $20-$35 depending on the day and season. An off-site parking option with free shuttle service is available from the Santa Cruz County Government Center at 701 Ocean Street on select busy weekends and holidays. Metered street parking is also available, but can be difficult to find.

From anywhere in Santa Cruz, a taxi or ride-share service (Uber/Lyft) can take you directly to the Cocoanut Grove at 400 Beach Street. Expect to pay approximately $10-$20 for a ride from downtown Santa Cruz, depending on traffic and demand.
