Driving
From the Big Sur Village area, head south on CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Seal Beach Overlook is approximately a 10-minute drive. The overlook is located on the west side of the highway at 49664 CA-1. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak times.
Walking
If starting from the Big Sur River Inn, walk south on CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway) for about 1.5 miles. You'll pass the Big Sur Campground on your left. Continue until you reach Seal Beach Overlook at 49664 CA-1 on the right side of the highway. Exercise caution as there may not be a designated pedestrian path. Walking is free.
