    From the Big Sur Ranger Station, head south on CA-1. Follow the highway for approximately 2 miles. You will pass the Big Sur River Inn on your left. Continue walking along the scenic highway until you reach the California Sea Otter State Game Refuge, located at 51700 CA-1. The refuge will be on your right-hand side, easily identifiable by the coastal views and natural habitats.

    If you have a bike, start at the Big Sur River Inn. Head south on CA-1, which is a popular road for cyclists, but be cautious of the traffic.
