Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Downtown Monterey, head east on Alvarado Street towards the intersection with Pearl Street. When you reach Pearl Street, turn left. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You will see El Estero Park on your right at 725 Pearl St. The park is located just off the main road, so watch for the entrance.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus. Look for MST Route 1, which travels through Downtown Monterey. Board the bus at any of the stops along Alvarado Street. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Pearl St & Del Monte Ave' stop. From there, walk east on Pearl Street for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at El Estero Park. Please note that a single bus fare is approximately $2.00.
