Start from the Monterey Bay Aquarium located at 886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940. Head southwest on Cannery Row toward David Avenue. Continue straight onto Foam Street and then turn right onto Lighthouse Avenue. Walk along Lighthouse Avenue until you reach the intersection with 17th Street. Turn left onto 17th Street, which will lead you to the scenic coastal path. Follow the path along the coast until you reach the intersection with Ocean View Boulevard. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of 17-Mile Drive. You will need to pay a small toll to walk the scenic route. Follow 17-Mile Drive and keep an eye out for Bird Rock Vista Point, which is located on Bird Rock Road. Look for the signs pointing to the viewpoint.
