Public Transit
From downtown Mountain View, head to the Mountain View Caltrain Station located at 600 W Evelyn Ave. Take the northbound Caltrain towards San Francisco. Get off at the Palo Alto station after about 5 minutes. Once at Palo Alto, transfer to the SamTrans bus line 22, heading towards Santa Cruz. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Cabrillo Hwy & Greyhound Rock.' From there, it’s a short walk to Greyhound Rock, located directly on the beach.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Mountain View. Start your ride heading west on El Camino Real towards Palo Alto. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with CA-1 (Cabrillo Highway). Turn left onto CA-1 and follow it for about 15 miles. Greyhound Rock will be on your right side. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking rules.

Walking from downtown Mountain View to Greyhound Rock is quite a trek, but possible. Begin at the Mountain View Caltrain Station and head west on W Evelyn Ave. Continue straight until you reach El Camino Real, then turn left. Follow El Camino Real until you reach the intersection with CA-1. From here, you can either continue walking along the road or find a nearby bus stop to catch a bus towards Davenport. The total walking distance is about 15 miles, so plan accordingly and ensure you have enough time and water.
