Walking
From the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, walk east along Beach Street towards the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Neptune's Kingdom is located on the western end of the Boardwalk, adjacent to the Casino Arcade. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes, offering scenic views of the Monterey Bay.
Public Transport
Santa Cruz Metro buses serve the Beach Boardwalk area. From the downtown Santa Cruz Transit Center, take any bus route that stops near the Boardwalk (check Santa Cruz Metro's website or app for the most up-to-date routes and schedules). Get off at a stop along Beach Street, and walk towards the Boardwalk. Neptune's Kingdom will be on your left as you enter the Boardwalk area. A single ride on Santa Cruz Metro costs $2.
Driving
From Highway 17, exit onto Ocean Street towards downtown Santa Cruz. Follow Ocean Street until it intersects with Beach Street. Turn right onto Beach Street, and you will see the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on your right. Parking is available in several lots along Beach Street, but these can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Parking fees range from $20-$35 per day, depending on the season and day of the week. An alternative is the free parking with free shuttle service from the Santa Cruz County Government Center at 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz, available on select dates.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) are readily available in Santa Cruz. Simply request a ride to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (400 Beach Street). The driver will drop you off near the entrance. A ride from downtown Santa Cruz typically costs $8-$15, depending on traffic and demand.
