The Saint James Station is served by the Blue and Green lines of the VTA light rail system. From the station, the park is a short walk away. A single VTA bus or light rail fare is $2.50.
Walking
From most downtown San Jose locations, St James Park is within easy walking distance. From Plaza de César Chávez, walk north along N Market St, then turn right onto E St James St. The park will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Be mindful of pedestrian crossings.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxi and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) are readily available in San Jose. A ride from San Jose Diridon Station to St James Park typically costs between $10-$15, depending on traffic and demand.
Driving
If driving, be aware that St James Park does not offer on-site parking. Street parking is available, but metered and can be limited, especially during events.
