    From Muir Woods National Monument, exit the park and head onto CA-1 S (Pacific Coast Highway). Continue on CA-1 S for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit toward US-101 S/San Francisco. Merge onto US-101 S and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 437B for I-280 S toward Daly City. Merge onto I-280 S. Take exit 43B for CA-1 N toward Golden Gate Bridge. Follow the signs for the Golden Gate Bridge and continue onto Lincoln Blvd. Turn right onto Lover's Lane, and you will arrive at Lovers’ Lane at the Presidio.

    From Muir Woods National Monument, walk to the nearest bus stop on Muir Woods Rd. Board the Marin Transit Bus 66 towards Mill Valley. This bus will take you to Mill Valley Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Golden Gate Transit Bus 4 towards San Francisco. Get off at the Presidio stop, and walk to Lover's Lane, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Please note that bus fares are approximately $2.50 for Marin Transit and $3.00 for Golden Gate Transit, so be prepared with cash or a transit card.
