From anywhere in San Francisco, the F-Line historic streetcar is a convenient option. Take the F-Line to the Embarcadero & Stockton St stop, which drops you off a short walk from Pier 39's entrance. Alternatively, several MUNI bus lines (8-Bayshore, 30-Stockton, 39-Coit, 47-Van Ness, 49-Van Ness/Mission) stop near Pier 39. A single ride on MUNI costs $3. BART users can transfer to the F-Line at Embarcadero Station.
Taxi/Ride-Share

Taxis and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) provide direct access to Pier 39. Simply request a drop-off at the Pier 39 entrance. From downtown San Francisco, a taxi or ride-share will typically cost between $16-$20, depending on traffic.
Driving

If driving, approach Pier 39 via The Embarcadero. The Pier 39 Garage is located directly across the street from the entrance.
