Car
If you are driving from anywhere in the East Bay, you'll want to take I-80 W toward San Francisco. Once you cross the Bay Bridge, follow signs for US-101 N. Take exit 433B for I-280 N toward US-101 N. Continue on I-280 N for about 2 miles and take the exit for CA-1 N toward Golden Gate Bridge. Keep following signs for CA-1 N. After approximately 6 miles, take the exit toward Fisherman's Wharf. Continue on this road until you reach Fisherman's Wharf. The Musical Stairs are located at 1 Marina Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94123, near the Exploratorium. Parking may be available in the area, but be prepared to pay for parking, which can range from $2 to $6 per hour depending on the location.

Public Transportation
To reach Musical Stairs by public transportation, start by taking BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from any station in the East Bay to the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. From there, transfer to the Muni bus service. You can take the 30-Stockton or 47-Van Ness bus toward Fisherman's Wharf. Get off at the stop at Bay St & Mason St. From there, it's a short walk to 1 Marina Blvd, where you will find the Musical Stairs. A one-way fare on BART is approximately $5, and the Muni fare is about $3.
