If you are driving from downtown San Francisco, take US-101 North. Merge onto I-580 East towards Richmond/San Rafael. Continue on I-580 for about 10 miles, then take the exit for I-80 East towards Berkeley. After about 3 miles, take the exit toward CA-24 East to Walnut Creek. Continue on CA-24 for about 8 miles and take the exit for Orinda. Merge onto Moraga Way and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Bear Creek Road and follow the road until it turns into a dirt road leading to the Briones Rancho Site. Note that parking may not be available directly at the site, so plan to park in a nearby area and walk to the landmark.
