From Muir Woods National Monument, exit the park and head south on Muir Woods Rd toward California 1 (CA-1). Turn right onto CA-1 S and continue for approximately 10 miles. Merge onto US-101 S toward San Francisco and continue for about 6 miles. Take the exit for I-280 S toward San Francisco, then merge onto I-280 S. Follow signs for US-101 N and merge onto US-101 N. Take the exit toward Mission St. Use the right 2 lanes to merge onto Mission St. Continue onto 6th St. Turn right onto Market St, and then left onto 3rd St. Follow 3rd St until you reach Beach St. Turn left onto Beach St and find Umbrella Alley at 757 Beach St, San Francisco, CA 94109. From Muir Woods National Monument, you will first need to take the Marin Transit bus (Route 66) to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal. Board the ferry to San Francisco.
